I'm not really one for solos. When you label a song outstanding on it's solo work then it seems as though you're putting less emphasis on the song. Unless a track involves a solo solo (i.e. no other elements) then it should be taking on it's whole merit. With that in mind I have no "favourite" solos per say.
There is no signature here. Move along.

Virtually everything CKY did pre-AACBF contains my favourite riffs. Escape From Hellview, Flesh Into Gear, Disengage the Simulator, Testing... So many classic riffs.

Children of Bodom, Helloween, Dream Theater, and other prog/power bands would get my vote for having the best solos.

I'm not to sure what a Riff is but my mind tells me in a guess that it's the body and main part of a song. Like the verses and such. And my favorite Solo is "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" - Greenday. The Solo is at the end. It kicks major ass...

The riff in "The Ballad of Darcy Farrow." Serious finger-picking skill. I can play about three notes of it.

XD Well the riff in "Heart Shaped Box" - Nirvana is pretty cool. I like the chorus chords better though...

    Wow. I love you.
Les Claypool is amazing and totally underrated. And, its really nice to see good, classic rock represented. (That's not a stab at Floyd, because I love them too..)
