Dead Like Me

First off, if there are any fans here, ROCK ON

But, to those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, "Dead Like Me" is basically a dark humour TV show, but it isn't just your average TV show. It proceeds to break through the norms with dark, witty, smart and simply amazing writing.

If you like good, original TV, I would highly recommend checking it out. Season two is starting this Monday, January 9th on Showcase in Canada at 10PM (Varies by timezone).

The DVD's can also be purchased if you really like the show, and their sales will help immensly on the possibility of a movie, and more seasons. Many of you are probably familiar with Serenity, which was produced due to the huge response of DVD sales for the popular TV show Firefly, which had a huge and loyal fanbase.

That being said, I come to the grim reason why I am appealing to this board for support. Dead Like Me was dropped due to the decisions made by an upper executive in Showtime (I can elaborate later if anyone wishes), after it's second season.

There is an online petition that already has over 54,000 signatures on it, and even if you don't wish to see the show, simply adding your name would be greatly appreaciated. If this petition gets really huge, the networks are bound to look at the numbers.

Its on Showtime, and when I used to watch it, I loved it. Everything about it was awesome. Nice to see fans here at eyesonff.
