When replying to PMs I have noticed in recent months, more and more people inserting their own replies on top of the senders' own reply. Example:

You rule so much I cannot contain myself.

p.s. Tony sucks.

Please tell me how much I rule again.

as opposed to the Orthodox method:

Now, how much do you suck?

Their is no bounds to my suckiness.

This new and perverse way of PM discourse also ruins the beloved quote pyramids, or alternately, ziggurat. This method turns the pyramid, or ziggurat into an unholy mass.

So, my question to you is, what is your method? Do you enjoy it? Did you know that if the Nazis were still around the inverted PM reply would be their method?

When you read a new pm what you want to see is the new material. That is the actual pm. It does not make sense for it to be way at the bottom. The quoted text is below the actual message for reference if you need it.

The reply definitely has to be on the bottom. That way you get to see all that has already transpired in the conversion as you scroll down to post your reply. Being on top means that you have to keep scrolling down to check on previous conversations and then up again to post your reply. This is not correct and a waste of time.
