    I play FFX because of it's unparalleled storyline, amazing music, and blitzball. This is easily one of the best FF games ever made, if mot THE best. (At least, that I have played, which is VII through X-2 and FFT)

    To me the whining in the game is to show him growing up right before our eyes...

    Well I assume it'd be the same script, only in Japanese, so chances are, if his whining in the english version, his whining in the Japanese version to so it's not just the voice actor like you said...

    You also raise good points about him growing up as the game goes on, another reason why X is brilliant. The character development is superb.

    Whoa me to! Well first i played it cuz mi bro got it for xmas so i just ine day decided to play it. At first i didnt like it... to much talking and what not. I didnt get the stoary line at all and the sphere grid... well lets not go there. Mi brain wasnt that smart when started so i couldnt figure out anything. ABout ayear later i sayd to mislef "well lets try this one again" I got the strategy guide and Voila! Presto! Alakazam! It became mi favourite game!

    Final fantasy is the only thing that keeps me happy i love ffx i have a whole wall dedicated to final fantasy.the only other things that keep me going are chrono cross/trigger all my ff games, ff advent children movie i got,fma and pony man (AKA Roy mustang )lol

    i play ffx because of one reason-everything. to me, it is the best game i have ever played, the action thrilled you, the story kept you playing, tidus and yunas love touches you- some of the infinite reasons why me- and millions of other people play this beautiful game. i dont think anyone can say no to that.

    oh, yeah, also because of tidus. i was maazed when i first saw ffx, how similar tidus was to myself(not braggin anywhere here) lively, cheerful, charismatic, when he gets an idea in his head, no power on earth will shift it. i- and other people agree (some)share these qualities. im sorry if you dont like wot u hear but thats just how i would put this amazing game.

    1.Because it's an amazing(and long)game and comes 2nd only to FFVII.
    2.It has the sphere grid.
    3.It has a great storyline and characters.
    4.It has the best FFsoundtrack.
    5.It has blitzball.

    I play Final Fantasy X because. . . all other video games are lame in comparison. I was never the PlayStation type, but once I started playing X. . . I loved it. The battles are a little boring, but the beautiful-graphic scences & perfect storyline make killing all those hideous-looking fiends worth it.

    Yeah, there's more to why I play FFX, but if I listed all the reasons, this little box would surely over-fill. . .

    I play it because it's the only FF(along with FFCC and FFMQ)that I own that I haven't beaten yet.
