appleseed is probably the best Anime movie.
Akira is not Rurouni Kenshin. It has a futuristic setting and is hella freaky, what with the uber-motocycles and throbbing UGLY FLESH THINGS. AHH!!! I haven't watched it in ages. I love it though.

And I hope you're not also saying that Samurai X sucks. Because it rocks. It rocks harder than the anime. Tenfold. xD
