How do you know all my favourite bands wear eyeliner?...... I don't know how many bands or how many members of how many bands, have worn eyeliner. But when most of the music I listen to was made, it was normal for men in music to wear make-up. But Steiner is a knight, a musician putting on a stage show wearing eyeliner is one thing, but being a knight and wearing eyeliner is quite another, particularly when you take yourself so seriously.All your favorite bands wear eyeliner.

There are a lot of gender confused people in FF9. Steiner appears to wear makeup, Kuja wears a thong, Quina is...well... no one knows for sure.
Actually Steiner is probably wearing that stuff um, that football players wear, it makes the sun not reflect or somethin...Cant think of the name. But, since Steiner is kind of clumsy. he accidentally gets it in his eyes.
