People seem to have the idea that the staff here is strict. Rules like these that make you realize how lenient the staff here is. I think they deserve another obligatory 'We love the staff thread'. You guys rock.

I haven't seen any reason why the staff should be hated here.
They can be tough, but this is a big board and it needs to be run very tightly.

There is nothing wrong with the rules you just posted. Hell, messages boards would be a better place if people weren't able to bring up religion or sexual preference.
And please don't try to interpret that in an insidious way because it's obviously not.

I think that any time something becomes obligatory, it loses some of it's natural gratefulness. It's like schedule acts of spontaneous praise.
That said, I do indeed appreciate the staff that we do have at EoFF.
Edit: ...Looking at those rules, I do not see how they are any more strict than staff is here. All of that is pretty commonplace.
