    Tom delonge's new band angels and airwaves will be reaching us soon. He leads bassist Ryan sinn (formerly of the distillers) drummer Atom willard (of the offspring) and David kennedy (formerly of box car racer)

    Their website is under construction, but you can get a small feel for their sound and here them talk about the band.

    I for one will buy the album as i think Tom delonge is a very talented song writer and vocalist.

    What is the general view on this. Are people looking forward to the album or not overly bothered?

    Not really bothered. I got out of pop-punk/rock years ago. A friend of mine (and lead singer of our band) loves them and says they're a lot different to Blink182, but from what i've heard I still don't see myself liking them.

    He may be dragging me with him to see them live so I suppose i'll get a better idea of what they're like then.
