The 'reward' for catching 99 frogs is a battle with Quale. If you manage to defeat him you'll get Quina's Gastro Fork. The rewards you'll collect on the way to 99 are a Silk Robe, an Elixir, a Silver Fork, a Bistro Fork and some Battle Boots.
