Maybe as a spin off game they could have a final fantasy fighting game, that would be cool with all your favirote characters but im begging please no X-3 not after the dissapointment of X-2

There is in fact a fighting game in development. I forgot what it was called, but all the square-enix characters are in it ( auron vs sephiroth ). But it is only coming out in japan( if it already hasn't).

oooo, you've just, in one fell swoop, ruined the idea. If its a prequel, it should feature only new characters, and characters referenced historically only!!

Um, that fighting game sounds like Kingdom Hearts 2. There is Sephiroth and Auron, and many other SE characters.
