It takes a lot for me, but I find the optimal curry is one that has a nice flavour but is still hot enough that I sweat, my nose runs and my lips burn at the end of it.

I ate a the tiniest bit of Chilli a few days ago. My tongue was burning for half an hour.

Err... my eyes water up if it's really extremely spicy (and I mean the kind of spicy that would probably slay anyone else not from around), and that's it really. I sometimes cough, again, if it's really terrible.

I never understood the point in causing yourself such suffering, though. You're not supposed to drown your food in, say, Tabasco... just a few drops, to add some interest to your food.
