Tristan and Isolde

Yeah, I saw the trailer and I was hoping that the movie itself was gonna be good, but it was just... meh.

James Franco does the smoldering moodiness thing very well, but other than that, he's pretty flat as an actor, and I never really believed that he was head over heels in love with Isolde. And Isolde was just nice. That's all, nice.

It was an alright movie. But I just didn't care as much as an audience member should care for the main characters of this movie. It was all just so bland. Meh.

I've been trying to decide whether or not to see this movie. As you said, James Franco isn't the most wonderful actor. He got on my nerves in Spider-Man and is the main reason I'm unsure about Tristan and Isolde. If I do see it, I can wait until it's out on DVD. :\
