I've spent over a quarter of my life in N. Ireland. I've visited most of it, I reckon. There is a distinctly Northern Irish tint to my upbringing. And I can tell you, I can conjure zero significant differences between the two places, except that Ireland is wracked with civil strife so ridiculous that it borders on the comedic. Or it would if people weren't dying.
