Well, I like Zidane/Dagger/Amarant or Freya/Vivi or Eiko. Because Eidolons rock.

No, seriously. If you do Chocobo's Hot and Cold, you get enough jewels to make every Eidolon very good. And you get a LOT of Ore, that you can use to pump up summons even more, or you can pump up Leviathan. You don't know of how useful a pumped Atomos is against Grand Dragons. XD

i always go for the first 4:zidane dagger vivi steiner.eiko's double white is cool,but i like eidolon (dagger's trance) much more than double white.everything gets way cool when dagger goes trance.with auto-regen equipped on everyone,dagger casts ark once.zidane and steiner attacks,vivi casts doomsday,and dagger does nothing for the rest of the battle.

My best party would be Zidane, Armarant, Vivi, and Eiko but you can always alternate white mages. But in the final battle you should go with Eiko because of full-life and pheonix.

Um, why not both white mages? You can fill the last slot with whatever you wish, and rarely be short on healing.

Well, because I find that Vivi's black magic with reflect x2 is invaluable against pretty much everything. And I don't want to use an all mage party. Plus I like to have Freya to sit there and use Jump/Cherry Blossom/White Draw (when my mages start running out of MP). Does anyone have any recommendations for surviving Ozma with this party (Zidane, Dagger, Vivi & Freya)?

well it all boils down to preference.like summons?go with dagger.like white magic?go with eiko.still,IMO,eidolon trance is much better than double white,so i go with dagger everytime.their trance makes the big difference for me.

let zidane use thievery.make sure it is at 9999.let dagger use mini and curaga as needed,and summon on other turns.let vivi use doomsday,while making sure it heals your whole party.let freya use dragon crest.make sure it is at 9999 also.equip auto-regen,auto-haste and every status-preventing support ability you have.ozma should be down in no time at all.

Auto-haste means nothing when fighting Ozma. Ozma's ATB bar is filled when you input any command making him go first anyways. The only time it doesnt fill is when you input a command during an attack animation (Hyprophant's Lv. 1 Ozma guide at www.gamefaqs.com)

I personally used to use Vivi, Zidane, Eiko, Dagger - then I took out eiko for freya(9999 damage dragon attack thing) vivi is just the best <.<; can heal your characters (with right equipment) while doing high damage.

zidane is must have because steal or whatever cause you can't kick him out. steiner shock with ragnarok is enough for 9999 dmg. you don't have to train that hard. vivi death, drain, lv3 magic, flare, doomsday and return magic ability is essential. vivi learn ability fast so as amarant. better yet, whenever someone cast magic, vivi will attack back with that magic. vivi can also be useful for doomsday with ozma. you know you equip shadow absorbing armor with you. so vivi will return ozma doomsday to heal your party and if something happen to white mage, vivi can act as second healer with doomsday. for healer eiko is the best. she can learn full-life,phoenix,curaga (fast),dispel,might,jewel. her madeen and holy are good too. garnet is unmatched if comes the healing process. quina is good but i prefer eiko. it's hard to eat certain enemy

No, seriously, Lv5 Death is useful when Quina is leveling. When you ditch him to put someone else, Atomos/Demi is the way to go <3

What level do you have to be for this sort of tactic to work? Roughly? Cos that sounds like the sort of thing I do in most boss fights anyway.
