I think it was like Resident Evil 1. Looked like an exact remake of it actually.

Kind of ok for me also. The monsters didnt scare me, the 2 things I enjoyed were "DOOM mode" when you enter first person shooter mode like in the game and the "BFG", Big F***ing Gun. Classic.

I didn't see it, but I wanted to. It looked like it would be a fun movie to go and see with your friends to laugh at. :D

Heh, the 1st person view wasn't that great though. The computer graphics looked just too much like computer graphics.

It was not good. The film went entirely out of the way of the original plot; it was just a cash tie-in. That's for the film. The game? One of the best first-person-shooters ever created.

Kind of good for me. As a stand-alone action movie, it was decent. However, when compared to the game, imho, it sucked big time. First, they never went to hell, and that was the one part in the entire movie that I was most looking forward to. Finally, they did the whole military squad thing which was a definite let-down to me. Imo it would of been cool to just see the one marine fight his way through instead of with a couple of guys. Plus, they played the whole demons from hell thing as a "virus". WTF?!?!
