ff4 or ff9?

i barely remember ffiv.it is just too easy and too short to really stick in my mind.

I love both the games, with a slight preference for IV because of Rydia and Kain. Aaah, Kain.

I haven't played FFIV, but I've looked up on it and I don't really like games with millions of charcters, cuz you end up with lots of development on two or three characters, and everyone else fades int the background.

I thought IV was a little boring and the characters weren't really memorable. I liked IX better because it was the first FF I played. And I remember all the characters.
