Help
I'm writing a comedy show with a mate of mine. We are interested in doing a sketch comedy series that we are going to put online. Its a sort of sketch comedy, each episode is only about 10 minutes. What I want to know is what makes others laugh, I know what makes me laugh, but I really need to know what makes other people laugh. Thanks.
Political and Ratial humour are pretty big right now. Personally some of the funniest things to me are jokes about stupidity, such examples are Lewis Black and Carlos Mencia. Then jokes that are just outrageous and random. People Like paton oswalt are funny because of Exageration. hope this helps.

Try to make all your characters have a certain "way" about them for example Joey from "F.R.I.E.N.D.S." is very stupid, Marie from "Everybody Loves Raymond" is very annoyingly mother like, do you see what I mean.
Nothing makes me laugh!...
As for everyone else, it depends what your target audience is. If it's working class, throw in some cheap, quick jokes. Um, hell, what am I talking about? Ask someone who actually looks like they know what they're talking about, like boris no no or something.
Tip*watch family guy*emmm what makes me laugh.......I'd have to say random jokes and if any of you's have seen Lee Evans his appersinations they are top notch entertain ment(be sure to give us a link when ure done!)
