What do you mean by Zell, Rinoa/Irvine? It's Squall that was supposed to be used.

Oh sorry... I didn't see that the other two characters were suppose to be dead... anyway its still possible to beat omega without using lionheart or even Squall for that matter... just remember to have defend equipped to the character you are using...

That alone isn't enough. You need GF's for Light Pillar too.

You could also have something else to help make it a little easier. Triple and/or drain junctioned to your weapon. Then you could attack and heal in the same turn

Well, since it is Squall only, and nothing says that you can't use junctions, comands or invincibility items, it is actually pretty easy. Even without Hero and Holy War, it isn't THAT hard. Omega's fatally weak point is his pattern. He can't use three Light Pillars in a row liek Ultima Weapon.

And why, exactly, can't you play cards in a No Junction Game? No Junction means No Card Mod, so it won't matter if you play cards.
