Changing Firion's Name!

I can't change it, whenever I hack the SAV battery file it just becomes unreadable... How can I change Firion and Leon's name (I hated how I chose Leonhr and Frionl)

EDIT: Just forget it, I just made a save state, hex edited it, loaded the state, and saved
