hmmm. I like the simularities in here. I mean, there is some in here that i didn't know of. Like in final fantasy viii, bigs and wedge, they are from star wars.

well I'm now into FFII playing to the part right before you go to recruit the dragoons and I noticed a few things already such as the rebels and empire that an obvious one but the thing that stuck out the most so far to me is where the dreadnought is chasing cids airship and captures it. That part really reminds me of the beginning of star wars where the imperial star destroyer captures the princess' ship.

No they were never coincedences. FF producers commonly draw their storylines from movies and books and the book.FF and Star Wars may have simmilarites but they are total coincidences
