Final Attack Materia

If I'm not mistaken, the Final Attack Materia is located at the Chocobo Races at Gold Saucer. I have a gold chocobo that can win evey race, and not even ONCE have I seen the Final Attack materia so much as to be offered up as a gift. I have done so many races that its not even funny. Ive even gone past the point where Esther says how great I am and gives me all those freebes also. I simply cannot find the materia when I'm racing, or betting. Did anyone else have this problem, or is there another way to get this materia?

You get Final attack in BATTLE square in the special round.


Get W summon and Omnislash for a total of 76k BP then you get to do a special battle.

As one can never have more than 65,000 BP at one time, this would be impossible.

If you've already "purchased" W-Summon (64,000 BP) and Omnislash (32,000 BP, or 51,200 BP if obtained on Disc 1), you'll also need the Ultima Weapon in order to engage in the special battle.

Ok, so after I get Ultima Weapon, then what? I already have both W summon and Omnislash

you have to equip cloud with Ultima Weapon and he has to have learned Omnislash before you'll be offered the special battle, which you have to fight as Cloud. The final enemy of the special battle is Proud Clod, so it's kinda tough.

i have final attack but i didnt have to go through the special battle. what gives?

How'd you get it then? Prod Cloud i thought was kind of easy, just have alot of elixers thier awesome. Also some ribbions.

Maybe you're getting really really really unlucky on the reels. But even so, Proud Clod shouldn't be any harder than he was the first time you fought him. You should be able to have Cloud heal himself because it's likely your HP will be half or what it was originally or less. Have a Turbo Ether or two handy in case you get MP 0. Other than that, there's nothing more you can do.

i havent even got that far yet the tonberyy's keep killing me plus i queep beeing unlucky in the reelsso i havent got to the special round yet i havent even got omnislash!

Tapping square repeatedly when the reels pop up, slows it down so you its easier to stop it on something of your liking.

i tried that it was useless speacaly when the reels came u with the same thing like for example the magic seal that was all that appeared in the reels and after i get the same thing happening but with summons!!!!! its evil

Works great for me. I can go through a whole battle tournament with losing anything if i wanted.
