I wouldn't be so quick to trust McCain. He has a habit of changing his tune to try to please others. Of course, most politicians do, but McCain has cultivated an image of a straight shooter, which is humorous.
I don't know how much of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_McCain">this</a> is accurate, but a lot of that made me not like McCain.
But still, he's better than Hillary.
Hillary is pretty insane, and it's most likely only a matter of time before one of her wacky comments turns off a ton of people and dooms her eligibility for candidacy the same way Dean's shot was ended the instant he let out the Dean Scream. And even if that doesn't happen, the Democratic Party isn't in a strong enough position to rationally attempt to put forth such an avant-garde candidate as a woman. They're hurting so bad that they need to play it safe and pander to the mainstream if they want to stand a chance.
I'm pretty sure I'm down with McCain. It'd be pretty all right if he were to run again.

Actually McCain is a very real possibility, he is viewed as the leading candidate in the next primary, the Republicans are loosing a foot hold in this country, and they need a candidate that is very popular with everyone, tax cuts for people making under 70,000 a year and voted against biulding an aircraft carrier instead using the money to 12,000 enlisted families on food stamps. Not very Republicy if you ask me. Im excited because I see a light at the end of the tunnel for this country no matter if a Dem or Rep wins. Anybody but Bush.
And Hillary is a long shot, but I would like to see how woman might handle being president, maybe less fighting and more negotiating, in poll done by USA today done in December 41% of Democrates in the United States saw her a legit candidate, compared to something like 20% in May.

Anyways, I don't know, because I don't know much about either of them. However, given Clinton's attitude towards videogames, she's not got a lot of my support right now. Having said that, it would at least be a new thing to have a woman president.
Edit: Just skimmed over the link Raist posted, and I have to say, I'm starting to like the guy.

I'd vote for Hillary Clinton.
Technically I'm Canadian but since we just elected in a Conservative Government I won't be too surprised when we actually do become the newest state.
I'd probably choose Hillary because from what I'm aware of she's brought about great positive change in NY and if anyone can fix that [img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img] hole up then that reason enough for me to vote.
I'd also like to see a female president.
Speaking of female presidents there were 3 female presidents elected into presidency (or the equivalent there of) in the world pretty darn recently.
Chile, Zambia .... and... Australia? (I'm guessing with Australia but I think that's so.)

If he ran, I'm positive that he would win. He's an electrifying speaker, is very political and has a great sense of governing prowess as well as a sense to do what the people need rather than what they or his party want. He's simply amazing
If Hillary ran, I don't know. Women are very catty and I really don't want her to get ticked off and start nuking other countries for saying she has bad hair.
Seriously though, Hillary isn't a bad person, or a bad politician. I don't see why nobody likes her. Sure, she may be more liberal than others, but she's not all that bad. A lot of her policies actually make sense, could work, and could save on a fiscal budget, however, she has NOTHING on Barak Obama.
Lots of names being thrown out and the odd accusation of a candidate being crazy. I guess it's not surprising that Bush won last time if this is how you guys let each other know about candidates.I'd be interested in knowing if there are any actual, you know, policies that a candidate would win you over with or something. Rather than "Dude, he's crazy!"
