In my opinion the best is Eyes on Me, the rest aren't too good and seem rather obnoxious...

FFVII had the best vocal theme.
One Winged Angel? Nope. I don't really think that falls into the category of the themes above though.
If you consider vocals from albums. Terra's theme from FFVI was pretty much considered the game's theme. And the vocal version of that was awesome.
But yeah. I think they tried too hard to make it a trend, and for some reason they don't realize why it turned out so well in FF8.
Because in FF8 it fit the game and was actually part of the story...
FF9's fit, since it was about memories. But it didn't work as well.

The best from that list is Suteki Da Ne, but as previously mentioned, One Winged Angel is probably the best vocal piece.

One Winged Angel has lyrics. In Latin.
Incidently, my PC version of FFVII doesn't play the lyrics during One Winged Angel for some reason...

Are you basing that on the jap version or the english version?

I haven't heard the japanese version, and the english wersion was OK, but I didn't like it as much as all the others.
I didn't really like Eyes on Me, but tbh, I've never got far enough in the game to hear it in context, I've only heard it on the OST. The others, 1000 Words is probably my favourite, but I prefer the orchestral version. Melodies is nice, as is Suteki, but again, I prefer the orchestral version. Anyway, I don't relly think any of them are particularly obnoxious...
