Have you beaten Sephiroth?

It would have been possible to beat him at level 1... if you only could get to him at level 1... but you can't get to Sephiroth at any level lower than 42. Even if "your journey starts in the dead of night", you'll get too much EXP from all the bosses and stuff up to the point in the game where Platinum Match is aviable. That's why it's impossible to beat Sephy at any level lower than 42. I could probably have beaten Sephiroth at level 10 without too much trouble... but it's simply impossible to be level 10 at that point in the game.

That's what we call pwned.

Now here's a familiar thread. I think I've seen this sort of thing before...

He's good for leveling, and isn't too hard if you time things well, but what's really fun is to turn the sound up really high, and having fun listening to one of the best One Winged Angel remixes I've heard.

Nope, I haven't tried to. My friend did, she beat him and when the scene where cloud and Sephiroth were supposed to met...her disc just showed him when he flew away! XD Her disc was so messed up that it's missing so many scenes from the game! lol ...I'm such a bad friend. XP

The scene with Cloud and Sephiroth fighting is only in final mix, I believe.

Yeah, I did. I believe it was on my second try, as my first was the experimenting/research stage. Beat him badly too, as I didn't even use Elixirs, just kept casting Curaga. I was the aggressive one in my fight, never gave the guy a moment unless necessary.

I never play aggresivly against him. Dodge and dive, all I do. Ionly attack when given an opportunity.

I usually wait for him to do Flame Pillar, beat him down to purple, then Strike Raid when he does Heartless Angel. Then beat the crap out of him with Arcanum when he does the Meteor thing.

I only beat him once, it took me a long time to beat him and when I did, I never tried again. He'd probably wipe he floor with me dozens of times before I beat him again.

I beat him quite a few times. He's not that hard after you study his attacks a few times.
