Everyone who really cared about their stories or anything else you'd like to censor has already found out that information in the three to seventeen and a half years they've been available.     Truth. I think that they brought him back to make up for basically every single damn character in the game dying during FFII. They kind of overhauled it with FFIV, you know, reviving every character for no apparant reason. Maybe they knew all along that in 10 years they'd make a remake where you could use your not-so-dead characters.
