I recently got all mys tuff back to play FFXI

and I'm hopping to start again this week. But, I was wondering how long will square keep your account after being inactive? It's been like a year since I played last xD just wondering if my account is still there or if I'll need to start over.

They'll keep your POL ID indefinitely as long as you know what it is and have the password (I've noticed you're working on figuring all that out in another thread), your characters will remain on the server for three months after you delete the content ID it is linked to (unless you delete the character). After those three months, it may or may not get deleted. I've heard rumors of people coming back half a year later and their character still existing, but after a year I think you're out of luck.

Yeah thanks. I'm hopping Shay still has a email or something hanging around with my POL id on it but I doubt it.

The guarantee has since been changed to 1 year of keeping your character somewhere on the POL site, and they MIGHT or might not kill your character..some people quit for 3 years and came back fine with their old characters..some werent as lucky.
