Which character/games do you think sells more nintendo systems?

hmm, maybe people don't understand my question, people that don't have the system, are they more likely to go out and buy it for the new Zelda game, or the new Mario game, obviously you have more Mario games, cause he has 100s more games then Zelda

No actually, its because I was brought up on Mario games, not Zelda. Thats the reason why I have more Mario games then Zelda ones, not because Mario has more, but because I love Mario more.

I dont play that as much as my fella does. He loves it. Me, I prefer the old Mario games. N64 Mario rocks.

I like some of the Mario games, but dislike all of the Zeldas. I'd say Mario probably sells more, being the mascot and stuff. Besides, Mario Kart > *

I love Mario games (although it isn't what made me buy my gamecube - Resident Evil made me buy my gamecube)
I also like Zelda games, but not quite as good as Mario games, so I vote Mario

hmm interesting, just from my own experience, I know a number of people who bought an N64 for Zelda, and people who bought a Gamecube for the upcoming Zelda. Personally I was raised on them all, so I get it for Metroid, Zelda, Mario.... etc.
