I use the boring, default skins for almost everything.
Customizing things takes so much time.

In Windows I use the Media Center Style, Energy Blue.
In Opera, whatever the default is, it looks nice.
In Limewire, the black theme, the white skin fails.
Windows: Windows Recall.
Firefox: Black Japan
Winamp: MMD3, DeviantArt color scheme
Trillian: Subzero
the only one I know how to change is my winamp skin, which changes almost hourly cause well, I'm a woman, I can't make my mind up. Right now it's a pink HIM skin, a while ago it was final fantasy x-2.
