come on this one is really hard
Is it the pub managers secret room that you can only get to after you beat him at cards?
The realm of the dark knight--(secret room)
No monument to his glory--(no monuments in the room like trophies for winning so often)
Just a lot of lost minions--(his rare cards)
And an untrustworthy guardian--(he wasn't good enough to beat you)
I know its a long shot but I'm getting desperate

the lake where the find that Yufo guardian that one... damt it I don't remember the name.
It's hard in the sense that a riddle by Endless Twillight would be hard.
EDIT:
It's not the Dollet Pub.
Owen Macwere, do you mean Pupu? Or Obel Lake?
yes, that's it Obel lake ^^!

I dunno if this is right but it's a guess.
There's a scene in the game which is a flash back to laguna. He plays a "legendary dark knight" that has to fight a ruby dragon. It's a movie so there's no real monument to how he became a dark knight or is one etc. His minions would be Ward and Kiros (although I believe Kiros was the only one present in this flashback) and also the co-star. The director and co-star flee the place, as Kiros is missing from the scene. The director "could" be laguna's guardian, as in reality, a director has full responsibility of his actors in production of the movie. So if anything happened to Laguna it'd be his fault.
I can't tell where this place is, so I can only say in Squall's dreams or in the "dream land". If I am right, I've agreed for Rantzien to take the riddle as he was the one who introduced me to this riddle in the first place.

Oh yeah, the Trabia Mountain Trail or something? Good explanation Lenna.Originally Posted by Squall_VIII

Thank you Hysterian!
I thought about that, maybe it was in relation to a dark area (night time; dark knight) or maybe Kiros, he could be classed as a knight kinda.
I'll figure it out later...
Is the 'dark night' mentioned on the first line a different person to the man mentioned on the second line?![]()

I don't think so, but then if you're on about my explanation, Laguna had a monument of himself, but we're not on about laguna himself. I'm on about the character he played in that movie.
His glory could be his status as dark knight, and the monument would be how he became of this status. But we don't know do we? :P
I'll figure it out later...
It's not Obel Lake or the Trabia Mountain.
However, Owen Macwere is on the right track. The answer is related to the Obel Lake subquest.
Perhaps the forest by Dollet? You know, the one with the talking monkey, haha.
Thank you Hysterian!
