"The red saviour" refers to Ragnarok.
The answer has little to no ties to any story or plot at all. It is involved in a process, though.

But yeah, Ellone is wrong, as you said it's not any main character or major occurrence in the game. As an additional hint, it can be said that the answer has little to no ties to the main storyline.

it has little to do with the storyline, you dont even have to see it in the game at all

I'm guessing Gilgamesh, I read a previous guess from PhoenixAsh and his reasoning was really good, but he guessed Lunatic Pandora.

The daedel burg could be Odin's castle place, which would change the scene, but for now I'm guessing Lunatic Pandora.

Alright. This is going to be a descriptive and an out-there guess, but I'm going to give it a shot.

The answer is:
The first disk of the game. Because the first disk includes introductions of Squall, Quistis and Cid. In the beginning Squall is avoidant. There is also an assassination attempt in which Irvine delays. I'm not sure what the location is, but I'm going to assume it's in the first disk as well. I'm not sure why ragnarok is there since it isn't introduced till disk 3, but there were also other trains similar to ragnarok in disk 1. Also, the dance sequence when Squall dressed up was also in the beginning. So yeah.
