Movies are art.
What's art?
What isn't art?
Proud to be the Unofficial Secret Illegal Enforcer of Eyes on Final Fantasy!
When I grow up, I want to go toBovineTrump University! - Ralph Wiggum
I should also mention I'll be there from January - April 2007.
So that should help narrowing down the weather.
Boldly go.
Then stay away from Boston or the North East unless you like cold and snow.

I grew up in cleveland. I think it's a kind of depressing city, always grey, decayed downtown. Then again, I'm biased, because I grew up there. Cleveland Institute of Art is however in a really cool neighboorhood, you are steps away from the gigantic (and free) Cleveland Museum of Art, Severance Hall (Home of the Cleveland Orchestra). You are also real close to the campus of Case-Western Reserve University, so you'll have a chance to mingle and hang out with students from another school. It's also near Little Italy, which is heavenly, if not fattening (oh, I'm craving it so much now...a month until I get home), and also by Coventry Village (through back to the 1960s). Feel free to PM or IM me about it if you want.
Grab the opportunities life hands you, that's my motto!
by the way, if you're coming down to Sarasota, let me know; I should be there sometime in March 2007, unless my plans drastically change by then. Doesn't seem right to let an EoFFer come to town and not visit them. xD
I live about an hour North of Sarasota. The weather about that time of year will be better than in most of the country. While it does get cold, it never snows and we don't really have alot of ice or anything.
Sarasota the town is nice, although I will admit I haven't spent alot of time there. I know that they have a couple Museums, like the Ringling Museum and Edison's home, but other than that, I don't know much...
However I can tell you that in the St. Petersburg/Tampa area, we have tons of museums, Florida Holocaust Museum, Salvador Dali Museum, Florida International, and also great restaurants and nightlife... I'm a Concierge at a large hotel in Tampa, so I have access to gobs of info on the area itself, if you'd like more...
The school does have a great reputation too, as The Man mentioned...
EDIT: There is a kick-ass aquarium in Sarasota too. Its called the Mote Aquarium. I loved it...
No NY or TX??? you'll find other places boring
I'm going to New York for the second time in about a week.
I could apply to Pratt, but frankly I don't want to live in NY. It's okay to visit, but that's it, is it, is it.
And no, Apparently Texas isn't cultured enough to have Art Schools worth going to.
PS
WTF. Serial killings of women in Massachussets.
*crosses off*
I should mention I'd preffer a low-crime rate location, especially low-murder.
Boldly go.
That shouldn't be of concern if it's only for one term.
