You can edit it yourself. My scheme consists of various shades of pink.

XP by default doesn't allow for third-party themes. You need to patch a file within your WINDOWS directory. I've attached a file called uxtheme.dll in my post as a zip. Download it and extract it to your C:\WINDOWS\system32 directory. Reboot your machine.

I get my themes from deviantART. I would stay away from http://www.themexp.org/ since they like to bundle their themes with other software.

    Note about installing uxtheme.dll:

    - Overwrite all instances of the file with the new one, (including those in Windows/ServicePackFiles/i386) otherwise Windows will overwrite the modded DLL with the original.

    - Make sure your XP CD is not in your CD drive, even if Windows asks you for it.

    - You may not be able to overwrite uxtheme.dll due to locking. If so, you must boot into the recovery console by booting off the XP disc, and replace the file then.

You could always rename the old one uxtheme.dll.old to make sure.

    You could also try http://www.tgtsoft.com/prod_sxp.php

That's what I use, and it's not like Window Blinds.

Unless you want to apply third-party icons, logon screens, or explorer bars, there's no real point. Besides, it takes up system resources.

I might actually be arsed to use one of these if it were one I made myself. Basing a theme off of FG's appearance doesn't seem so bad.

anyway, does anyone here have any idea how to make them or is it a ridiculously complicated process?
