Odd, when I preview one of my own posts with the word "lol," it doesn't seem to take effect. Maybe it's only present in the EoFF 2005 style set?

It's lol in the EoFF 2005 as well as the Classic. No filter.

Weird. From the context in which it's being used, though, it does seem to take effect in certain members' posts where I doubt they intended to use it. Maybe it's a new feature of vB3.5 I'm not aware of?

for the title of the thread, don't u mean mirth? not merith. anyways, the first i saw this was on Flying Mullet's sig. then i saw ppl starting to actually say it in their posts. i think it is the long way of saying lol.

I don't know why. But I don't really mind seeing it in lowercase. But in caps it seems so obnoxious and juvinile. Such a weird hypocracy inside me
