Annoying!

Ahhhh! Okay, I need help! At school, we have a lot of websites blocked, everywhere, Blocked websites! (even this one I may add... ) And I've been trying everything, to get the unblocked websites! I downloaded a new web browser, (both Thunderbird, and Firefox) installed them while on my teachers login, (due to their administrative properties, although, I found it was brutally easy to get on to one of their accounts ) And Even used a combination of WinRAR and WinZip to get them working, (My school forbids installing programs... unless, added to Zip file... Heh... Simpletons :rolleyes2 ) I also added files to the programs, (to get them properly working) but alas! my hard work never prevailed!

Then, I tried using a dislikeable program called Gibeo.net, Which only unblocked one website (This one, but all the pics are X'ed out, so it is not easy to navigate) and I've then been driven to contemplate making my own server, which wouldn't be hard, but annoying... So if anyone has any Easy or Simple ideas, you could post them here please?

P.S. It is really annoying when the teachers go through your file, and find all your downloaded stockpiled FF music, and Delete it, hmmm? (lucky I got it home through transferring it onto my mp3 player first.)

I don't use the internet much at school, and they have all sorts of annoying restrictions. Can't use run, or access the explorer shell, or change properties etc.

They have a keyword filter in place though, because all sites with 'blog' or 'journal' are blocked through the server:]

Because, I have a lot of extra time at school, because I finish assignments fast, and our class is always in the computer lab.

tell me about it, Now work takes me 5x longer because of the ghey filters, all search engines but google are blocked, google vid and google images blocked, any site that allows you to have fun is blocked (except miniclip lol) albinoblacksheep, mullet's game, ebaumsworld, newgrounds oh and the software on school computers suck, no media player, out of date quicktime (which sucks anyway) and Windows 95/98, they suck balls!

Maybe they have filters because you're supposed to be doing schoolwork/work instead. This is just a wild guess in the dark though.

Centralops.net - Use the Domain dossier to get the IP and input the IP rather than the domain and you will probably get past the filter on your school network, it works at my school.

I know exactly how you feel. I'm being personally targetted by the bastard technicians at my college. They've blocked practically all access to the web-based IRC client: CGI:IRC by blocking the word "irc" if it's in the URL, YET, they keep that stupid site MySpace - which could do far more harm than EoFF IRC ever could (well, probably) - unblocked! Argh!

I used to find every site I ever went on was blocked in high school. I could never get to certain pages, but I found a way around some of them, I used links to get to specific pages.
