Abel in Xenosaga III looks just like Fei

Because of Episode II?
Maybe that's...really Abel, from Xenogears? Maybe we're going to see the crash of the Eldridge in Episode III...And that would make for more confusion.

Namco and MSI royally screwed this whole thing up. Unless Xenosaga II gets good ratings from reviewers I will pass this one up without a second thought.
If that's the Abel that was aboard the Eldridge, it is indeed Fei. Don't know what happened to the continuity and connection between Xenosaga and Xenogears though.
He looks like the Abel presented in XS1.
I don't like the XS series - I just can't separate them in my mind from XG.
I would like to play it more but the combat system is just so... anal.
To all XS2 haters: Hey, seriously... it's not like Xenosaga II actually is a bad game. The changes was a big dissapointment, yes. And it's hard as hell to get used to directly after playing Xenosaga 1, yes. But you WILL get used to it after a while. And the battle system's not horrible once you've got used to it either... even though it's nowhere near as good as the battle system in Xenosaga 1, which I consider one of the best battle systems in RPG history. Besides... the battle system for Xenosaga III won't be the same as the one in XS2.
So far, I actually think XS3 will be a great game and I'll probably buy it as soon as it's released.
Darth Holmes... you really SHOULD try to play trough Xenosaga 2. Trust me... it was a pain for me in the begining too... but it IS possible to get used to it. And the ending of Xenosaga 2 is awesome as well.
Uh... as for the actual topic... yes, that guy looks a lot like Fei.

Yah, it obviously has something to do with Fei as a refrence. Probably just a ghost or whatnot like Nephilim.
The problem I personally had with Episode 2 was the presentation of the story.
Worse in every way.
[Watch the cutscenes of Episode 1 and 2 and hopefully you'll see what I mean.
There are a few exceptions to this, though.
In some of the cutscenes they seem to have paid for a moving camera and fitting music.]
Episode 1 is sweet though, and the trailers for Episode 3 look nice.

Actually...no. It IS a bad game. Everything that could have gone wrong with it did go wrong. Bad voice acting, worse graphics than the first, worse use of music than the first, worse less customizable battle system than the first, worse presenation, shorter and I can keep going. If you like the game then fine but recognize it as a bad game at least.
To back that up I like plenty of bad games and actually recognize what is bad(you know...give me some credibility rather than just hatin' ). State of Emergency is one of the newer games that I like that has pretty horrid game design overall.
People just got too high standards. While I agree it WAS worse than Episode 1 in just about every possible way, I don't consider it a "bad" game. Then again... perhaps I'm just being too nice when it comes to rating games, eh?
