I use cheats alot especially if the boss i've been trying to beat has killed me over 15 times each day in a week
But i used cheats once on FFX-2 and it messed up my game and i was so close to beating it and it froze.
Guess that teaches me not to cheat again xD

most of the games I play don't have usable cheats unless you use a gameshark or something....

Ok well I guess it's ok to use cheats on GTA as long as it's not helping you do in game missions.

How can it ever be not ok to cheat? (unless its not a multiplayer game) I mean, the point of games is to have fun, so if you have more fun cheating, go for it.

Cheating to screw around is fun and awesome. Some say it's cheating to trade a lv. 100 Mewtwo to a new file, but I say nay. I trained him in one game and he won't actually obey until later and besides if it wasn't the same game and I wasn't playing through to just get only one thing. Does anyone count Sequence Breaking in Metroid as cheating? I only do that for speed runs, though. Me and my friend cheat together in San Andreas multiplayer. Throwing tanks at each other is fun. I don't care who you are.

I only use cheats once I have completed a game, as I can then extend the length of the game by replaying it which some things modified. Admittedly, I USED to cheat when I was really stuck on a game, but a hard game is a good game (in many cases).

Screwing around with cheats rocks. I rarely use them to beat the game.

I never use cheats on a first go. I might use them once I beat the game, to mess around. Cheats which you unlock are the best.

Excepting Warcraft III, which I tore through with Cheats so I'd be up to speed on the story afore WoW.

But I am at least going through it properly now.

Something like Sims free play, when there's no real point, sure. Other than that.....meh.
