Yay, I finally caved and saw it!

Whoo! I thought it was really good actually, despite reading a lot of people say it was a letdown. It wasn't perfect at all, but I'm still very pleased with it. To me it felt like all the CG movies of a Final Fantasy game were strung together to make a movie, with a few added scenes of dialogue in between. So kind of like a game without any of the game bits in between...It's still by leagues and leagues the best video game-based movie I've seen, true stories. With bullplop like Uwe Boll's House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, and Bloodrayne, plus those awful Resident Evil movies, the mediocre first Tomb Raider and horrible sequel, and a Doom movie starring the Rock, I can't find much to complain about here!
