Genesis didnt have any really stand out great RPG's, but PS isnt bad I suppose. For the GBA, Pokemon is still going good if your still into that stuff, and FF Legends is worth your time ( even though others may say otherwise )

What about PSI. I mean, I liked it better than PSIII. PSII is diffentelly worth you time. Get Pokémon Silver for the GBC

PSI is for the Sega Master System, not Genesis.

For the GB/GBC, you've got the remakes of Dragon Quest I-III, Final Fantasy Legend/SaGa 1-3, Final Fantasy Adventure/Seiken Densetsu, Crystalis, Pokemon, and Revelations: The Demon Slayer. There's the three Zelda games, if you consider those to be RPGs as well.

Jowy summed up almost everything I could point out, but don't forget Star Ocean: Blue Sphere (only released in Japan), although you should be willing to follow a walkthrough, or prepare yourself to get stuck frequently...

Despite the stigma attached, the Pokemon games aren't half bad RPGs. Gawd I hope I don't get sniped for this.

Give Story of Thor a go for the Sega Genesis. Pokémon's worth checking out for the Gameboy if you've never played it before. Well, it was good at the time...

Metroid II isn't an RPG, but its an excellent choice for the Gameboy.

    Tetris for the GB
Sonic 1,2,3, and Knucles for Genisis
There was this Thor game for the Genisis. It was a pretty fun Action/Adventure game. I can't remember the exact name.
Mortal Kombat titles for the Genisis

    Fail.

No Shadowrun, and you're suggesting that PSIII is actually a playable, enjoyable game.
