I would just like to take this moment to publically thank Chibi Youkai for rejoining the Newbie Party for the third year running by offering her the position as deputy leader of the Newbie Party as reward for her consistently fair oldbie/newbie relations over the past years. I think that now more than ever it is her time to shine. She does Eyes on Final Fantasy proud.

The elections as a whole seemed empty without the Newbie Party. It just felt like something was wrong. I gave considerable thought to giving The Newbie Party's endorsement to one of the various other parties, but I just didn't really feel the right mood in any of them. =/
