I think the word "newbie" is great. It's like "rookie" in a major sport. It's your time to shine, when you're the underdog and you have every opportunity to make a fresh start and really get the full feeling of EoFF. I think, however, the word "n00b" and other such variants aren't so great. They suggest more to the "can't type" category than the "new member" category, and I don't like that, as a lot of newbies can type better than some of our longest standing veterans. This is why I think people should be judged not by the date of their registration, but by the content of their posts.

Chris: I still don't really get it. Why would I not be the first member of the party that I've been in for the past two years? I'm a firm supporter of newbies, always have been and always will be.
