Wow. This is one of the stupidest threads I have ever seen about metal.

There is no such thing as standard metal, and even if there was it wouldn't be thrash metal, as "classic" metal came before thrash.

death metal is great, non-tr00 black metal is great, industrial metal is great, folk metal is great and so is symphonic metal. Although power metal and most progressive metal

and many other bands beg to differ, but if you are just going for the <img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif">ty bands like Dragonforce, than by all means.

I agree with most of the rest of it, but would like to say, that "tr00" black is better than symphonic/melodic black.
