Default How will I be able to play this game again?

Alright, this is a plain luxury problem, and I should almost be ashamed of thinking it's an actual problem at all.
    However, the thing is this:
I always played FF5 on my mother's computer before, but now I've moved to an own apartment, and I can't use the Internet (you know, for emulator downloading and that stuff) on the computer I've got there, nor can I afford it right now.
The only solution would be visiting mother and play there, but I want to enjoy a game to the fullest until I've completed it, and I don't want to spend days at her house just to play the game, because it feels pretty rude.

    So, what should I do?
Is there any other way to enjoy this game?
And also, I'm not interested in some Japanese-talking version, because I suck at Japanese. XD

Why can't you burn the files onto a CD/DVD and copy them to your new computer?

I didn't think about that. XD
Although there's still one more problem: I'm not sure if my computer will be able to handle SNES emulators; you know, it's from 2002, pretty old and slow and... stuff. :rolleyes2

If you have a PS2 just get Anthology. Yes, the loading times does suck, but hey, a game is a game

    Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
    Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

Your computer will run the emulator just fine. Most, if not all, SNES emulators will run on a Pentium I.

that's ridiculous. I was emulating ff5 on my 2001 computer back in 2001 just fine, and now in 2006 it's still fine.

I was SNESulating (my term, feel free to use it) waaay back in 2000. Heck, some SNESulators (again my term) used to be DOS exclusive. Just goes to show you how far back the ol' emulating scene goes

I also had my first emulators years ago, in the late 90s. I'm sure that your computer can handle it.

Actually, I realized just now that I do have an old SNES emulator with FF4 on this old computer; however, I thought that emulator felt pretty "stiff", it was more like playing on a supered up NES.
It didn't feel very "soft", if you know what I mean.

Use ZSNES - I alwas found Snes 9X to be slow and choppy hope that helps- but dude, seriously, If you have a playstation, which you SHOULD if you want to play 7-12 etc...13? - Just by the Final Fantasy Anthologies, most places it's $20 - Well worth it for FF5 and FF6 - they're here in America now, so lets buy them. I think 5 and 6 will also be for GBA, but I'm not sure about that.

Well, I already have the FF: Anthologies, and I found the loading times to push my personal score from 10/10 to about 4/10. :rolleyes2

    ...seriously.
I don't wanna wait for 4 seconds just to check the menu screen, it's ridiculous.

He's got the best solution right there if you happen to ahve a PS1 or PS2. I bought FF Anthology and that's how I played through Final Fantasy V. Great game and I hope you get to complete it and enjoy the ending. ^_^

I guess you have a point with this FF: Anothology stuff, although I still think it's frustrating with all the damn loading times.

But hey, I'll just try it once more, perhaps I will manage; after all, I did play through Final Fantasy 8.
