Help with Extractor

OPPS! i messed up the title..
i was wondering (caus ei suck at ffx) is there any easy way i can beat the Tentecal fied thingy when you are on your way to GUadosalm? i cant beat it!!!

Are you talking about the Extractor in the Moonflow?

Cast Haste and use Thunder-based attacks and magic where possible.

Or if you don't have black magic with tidus nor Wakka, you can use Haste and attack has much as possible, heall as much as possible too, and u will get over it easly.
Select also the overdrive mode to warrior, cuz that way you will get a bunch of Overdrives to use.
If that does not work, train hard before crossing the Moonflow.
