You get one after you defeat the Ark. The other pieces can be obtained here:
- Chocograph 22, Outer Island 2
- Steal one from Ozma
- Synthesise a Pumice and a Hammer.
go to memoria til you find that place where quina felll into water and move right and up and once you go to an alcove you keep pressing x til' you get someone to talk and beat him up and hell merge two pumice pieces into a pumice

Ark is an Eidolon. You don't fight him.Originally Posted by Chris

Yes you do. You fight him in Oielvert, or however it's spelled. He's a boss. =_=Originally Posted by Xurts
Thank you Hysterian!
Yeah. I actually fought him today.Originally Posted by G SpOtZ
wtf. He has to be the most unoriginal summon that I have ever seen then.
Just to clear a bit of confusion, I think these are the ways of getting Pumice Pieces. To get the whole Pumice, you'll get one by defeating Ozma (I think) or by synthesizing two Pumice Pieces in Hades' synthesis shop.Originally Posted by Chris

I'm not really a fan of Transformers, but really, what's a PSX FF without an over one-minute-long summon with loads of flashy effects and good damage? That's why you have Ark in FFIX. The summon is quite handy when you combine it with Boost and Auto-Regen. You'll quite certainly get back to full HP during Ark's full-length summon sequence.
