I would agree on Illmatic but it's too short. My all time favorite album but, too short. Which is why I chose Stillmatic. He has something to lose with Stillmatic, everyone was doubting him before that album saying he had lost his touch then he came out with a masterpiece. One Mic, Got Yourself a Gun, You're The Man (easily one of my favorite rap songs ever), 2nd Childhood, Smokin, Hell I even LOVE the intro to Stillmatic.

In the battle between Illmatic and Stillmatic I'd have to go with Illmatic. Largely due to the fact that Nas had five of the best producers in the industry laying the tracks for him.

My pick for best album of all-time would go too Biggie-Ready to Die and a close 2nd Wu Tang Clan- Enter the Wu tang(36 chambers).

Oh yeah, I forgot that one too. Also, My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is pretty close to perfect if they didn't overplay 'The Ghost of You' so much.

However the only perfect album IMO is Dream Theater's incredible Metropolis Pt2: Scenes from a Memory. No question this is the best album of all time.

That almost as a fact is unable to be called perfect, as the song writing is atrocious.
