    Default The Arcade Fire

chaos: I searched, and didn't see a thread made on 'em. Sorry if there is one, though.

Rubedo: Anyways, these guys are from Montreal (close from where I was born), and one of my friends forced me to listen to their single "Rebellion (Lies)". Before even listening to it, I came to the conclusion that they sucked, simply because of the name. After listening to it, I instantly became a fan, and listen to it all day long.

Trowa: The thing about them is that they are unique. Something different that splits 'em apart from the rest of the rock music. Gimme your opinion on them. *sits and stares and sits and stares*

    Albedo: *laughs maniacally*

Whoa. I haven't listened to them in a long time. They are good, but I've kind of grown past them. But I still love Haiti, that song is just awesome.

I prefer Bell Orchestre. It's the side project of two members of the band.

The Arcade Fire led me onto Wolf Parade.

    Gateway drug, if you will.

Yeah, Arcade Fire is good. I agree that the LP was solid, but the EP wasn't as great. I'm kinda over them, though. Until they put out another rock solid album, that is. Which they probably will.

The Arcade Fire are on the list of "Bands I have to see before I die". Funeral was definitely the album of the year in 2005 (since it wasn't released until February over here) and although it's been played to death, I can't say I'm bored of it yet.
"The most important and recognize player in the history of the country."

Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I were as great as Paulo Wanchope.

Neel recommended an Arcade Fire song a while back. "Power Out," I think. That was pretty good.
