I mean really. That couldn't have been more obvious if it had slapped you people in the face.

Eh, it IS pretty old (seeing as the writer has since done another film, which is almost out on DVD), only the others are olderActually, all of these are exceedingly popular. Spirited Away is also the most recent entry on that list, so it's not actually 'pretty old'
Also, Id actaully say anime itself was relatively unknown (or at least for what it is, rather than for a genre of kids shows, or hentai, both of which are common misconceptions based on the fact that those types of shows get more publicity than shows like Evangelion or, say, Cowboy Bebop)

I like Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Last Exile (though I'm not sure if it counts as little known), Generator Gawl, Crest of the Stars, Banner of the Stars (I and II), and Magic Kaito (though that's technically a manga). Does Detective Conan count as little known? It's not really popular outside of Japan.
It's nice to know I'm not the only Generator Gawl fan

Anyway, no one seems to have seen Last Exile either, even though it's an outstanding anime. And no one in my school has heard of Beet the Vandel Buster (I really need to go to Borders sometime and buy some manga, I haven't been there since... Holy crap, September).
EDIT: Hey, Mirimu likes Last Exile!
Kikaider?

I noticed it. Was more concerned about correcting MJN though.Originally Posted by Malevolence

I do like that anime a lot. Prefer the manga, though.Originally Posted by Mimiru
That's what I thought when I saw the series. It's so weird. Very very strange, but probably one of the best told stories I've seen in an anime.Originally Posted by Rengori
The commentaries make it a bit less obtuse. As would the novels, which have just begun to get translated.
I've seen it, and I am a huge fan of it! It's an awesome anime, although I think Gundam X is well known. Well, it's known in my area at least, I don't know about yours.Originally Posted by Assassin_

Gundam as a whole is pretty well known (and well watched, for an anime franchise) in my area, but nobody seems to have seen Gundam X, which Id say was one of the best series (about on a par with Wing, which is saying something lol)I've seen it, and I am a huge fan of it! Many people consider Gundam Wing to be a low point in the series. I've only seen Wing and one episode of Seed so I can't really comment...Originally Posted by Assassin_
