Dragon fangs..

i can't seem to get any. every dragon i fight gives me fins or fury fragments or red fangs. i need them for the lionheart and it's annoying me that i can't seem to find any!

what GF's do you have? If you have Bahamut, I'm pretty sure he has the ability 'rare item'. this will make it easier to get rarer items.

Go to the island where Shumi Village is. Walk up against the mountains (directly against them.) You'll find blue dragons. They will drop dragon fangs.

I don't think any dragons but blue dragons drop dragon fangs, although I may be wrong. Your best bet is to fight blue dragons.

i fought loads on the island closest to hell and all i got were flipping fury fragments >.< i'll get learning the rare item thing and see if that works.. thanx!

Also, you should be able to mug them with relative ease.

i had a similar problem trying to get these fangs until I read some faq saying I had to battle Blue Dragons and it so happened that the very first that i beat gave me more than enough for the Lionheart!

all i got was fury fragments. i dunno if you stop being able to mug items after a certain level but my squall's at level 100 so that might've been it if it does affect it.

i ended up getting them using the rare item ability although after laods of them appearing before i had the ability it took ages for one to appear after i had it equipped. such is the ways of the world ha ha.
