This one's for the misers. The miserable. The misery-guts. Possibly another synonym beginning with m. This topic is for those of us who are sad, lonely, bitter and/or twisted on Valentines day, the day when every self-righteous smug couple shoves their love in the face of the lonesome and downtrodden everywhere. Doesn't it just make you sick in a fundamental way?
Come and rant my fellow pessimists. Rant with the little spark of life you still have left in you.

Where I live, most couples don't really bother with Valentine's day. It is the singletons that celebrate it, by sending random people they find attractive, cards, and/or gifts. I thought it was like that everywhere?

chaos: For me, it sucks because I forgot today was Valentine's Day, thus my girlfriend got mad when I didn't what the day was, and showed me empty pockets so she knew I wasn't kidding.
