    Default secret room

    in the dwarf castle there is a secret room thats always playing cids theme in it i believe its cids theme atleast.you fight wierd enemeys there too that never actually attack you they talk to you some though. and at the end of battles you get wierd items like one called smut. not used in battle and when you use it out of battle cecil looks back and forth and then looks away and the screen gets a red tint. sorry i cant giev you details on where exactly this room is i havent played the game in a long time and somehow i just remembered it. the room isnt there in the nintendo version.

    has anyone else found this room?

    Yes. It's called the Developer's Room, it's accessible through the pub of the Dwarven Castle, and allows you to talk to the development team that made the game.

    A few of their early games have a developers room, but the only one i can remember off hand is Chrono Trigger. I think its a nice touch ^_^

    FFIII had a small hidden room in one town with a girl welcoming players to mail their comments to Square. FFIV greatly expanded on this concept, and Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross took it even further.
